who do u think will be no 1 dj for 2006 ???

I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend.

i think its armins time :)

people .. do you think it will really matter ?! .. for the last years, PVD and Tiesto are exchanging the 1st and 2nd place, Armin is always the third, last year the only major change was PVD became no. 1 and Deep Dish climbed 1 or 2 stages up
what about this year? I guess either PVD will keep the throne with Armin in 2ndplace and Tiesto in the 3rd (only as honour !!) .. or Armin will climb to the first and PVD get down to the 2nd
anyways, it never happened before for any house DJ to take the throne and I dont think it will happen this year ... for myself, if i will vote for someone I know he might win - not my most fav actually - it will be Deep Dish then Hernan Cattaneo

i got a email conaining a letter that tiesto wrote and i thought it was very humble of him.. He said he didn't want to be no. 1 anymore cause it wouldn't help or hurt his career anymore. I notice that he doesn't seem to have alot of fans on here. I personally dont like him as much as i used to when "just be" and "parade of the athletes" came out but i still do like his music. But agree with him that its time for him to step down from the no. 1 spot. would like to see marco v make at least the top 10 and maybe paul oakenfold move up a notch or two.

Why? In recent years there haven't been any great changes in the top positions. As far as I foresee this won't be different in this year's poll. Having said that I wouldn't be surprised if Tiesto made it again.
But I'd like to know: What do you think? Which are the criteria for the majority of voters? What are yours personally?
To make a start here are mine:
1) I only vote for those I've seen live in the last twelve months.
2) I want to decide who will be no. 1. Therefore, I prefer the big names.
3) I want that good but unknown djs advance in the rankings. Therefore I choose one or two rather unknown artists, for example, Diana D'Rouz in last year's poll.
4) I don't care much about djing skills as long as there is a decent mix. It's rather about track selection and whether the live set makes me happy for days or even a whole week after the party.
I'm really curious...
