Is it ok if I upload one big James Holden Megapack with all of his live-performances once I got them? Will take some time, but I just found a new source for his live performances. [EDIT] I mean additionally to each torrent in single.

I also thought about creating a public RSS feed for all of his torrents once I know how to do that. I'll have enough points tomorrow or the day after.

megapacks are welcome...or chop them up into blocks of years!! Certainly easier to digest...will grab them  either way!!

Sponsored an RSS-feed for James Holden, 100 torrents and public, so for everybody. If I did it correctly, it should easily let you get everything from James Holden automatically.

feed is not public though..

Thx for checking, corrected it, so it's public now.

Uploaded 4 further recordings. Now this site has every liveset or radio-recording I got from James myself atm. I hope I'll get my hands on the about 10 missing recordings from 2001-2010 too, once this happens, I'll upload them either on the same day, or the day after. I'll also create a megapack a megapack with everything from 2001-2014 from him then.

Q.: May I rename and re-grade the file-names and folders for such a megapack, so their format matches? Or would this be counter-productive and I should at least keep the filenames, because then, people can seed the megapack and the single torrents from the same folder?
(Sry for the formulation of this question, I don't know how to express this better. )

Should have deeply searched the internet for James Holden mixes earlier probably. After many hours of search and downloading over the past days, I think I've gotten everything he ever played live that is at least in 128 kbps or above :-O . I refused 2 live video recordings from someone in the crowd, because the quality was so bad, that it wasn't music anymore imo.

So I plan on investing several hours again tomorrow to re-name and re-organize everything and grade it by years, for one big James Holden 2001-2014 Megapck! Be prepared :-D .

the problem is, you won't be able to seed singles, if you rename them. well, it's all doable, just need the utorrent-db editor Bencode to change filenames in db, but for everyone else it'll be no use... anyways, i recommend edit folders and filenames before sharing singles, then it can be easily combined into megapacks...

or simply have two copies of each file that you rename... i actually did that with one pack.. i think Lawler pack i did years back.. or something...

Omg :) .

I got contact to an english James Holden fan who has sets from him, that aren't even listed in the common databases :) . He got about 30 or 40 sets that I don't have, that I didn't know, that never seem to have existed anywhere but in the scene of that time! :-O It's absolutely incredible, but this will almost double the number of sets the upcoming Megapack will have. I also have about as many sets from James that he doesn't has, so everything is good :) .

Be prepared for a James Holden Megapack, that will not be epic, it's not gonna be legendary, it's gonna be legendary^2 :) . This is the best moment of this month for me, and it's gonna become the best moment for tm.com for long and maybe also for you, if you worship James music as much as I do :) . Such luck :) .

I didn't want to do this at first, but the temptation was just too great. I will now study how to use professional audio-editing programs like Audacity and will completely digitally remaster the whole James Holden Collection! I'm a musician myself, so my ears are very well trained, and I got a PA + a very good headset at home, so I am capable of doing this. It's gonna be a lot of work. With learning on how to use the programs, I expect me to take at least 2-3 weaks until I will have remastered every liveset. However, the result will be, that everybody of you will have the amazing chance to get 13y of James Holden's performances, of which even the oldest ones from 2001 will sound as if they were from today! I hope, you find waiting this long worth it :) . If someone requests it, I can pubslih the non-remastered sets now already.

Would be nice to get some feedback to this, not only from Slash :) . Participate in the forum m8tes, this is something that doesn't happen very often :) . If I didn't have semester-break, I never would have the time for this, and it's pure luck that my family sponsored me a PA because they wanted to enhance my experience when performing live myself :) .

James' music can still be classified, like "Trance, Deep House or Progressive House" . Imo., Nathan is beyond that. Nathan's music is just Nathan's music, it doesn't fit into any genre, it's simply too unique and his tracks are so different. From an artistic point of view, Nathan is imo. further developed than James, but James is the better performer and he also performs way more often than Nathan. With someone making a lot more music than someone else, it gets hard to compare them, because the one making more music has less time for each piece. Nathan's tracks are all masterpieces imo., and I wouldn't wonder, if James' took himself the time, that he could reach the same level of excellency.

There's a new video with James, that's very interesting:

M8tes:

Tomorrow morning is release time!!!

After checking for duplicates, the Megapack will be over 150 mixes in size. If you would want to listen to it completely, you would need to listen 1 week 24h a day and a little more  .

Be prepared!
