Noticed you have the Moon as a avatar. I mention it has there was a Super moon and lunar eclipse last night/early morning of 29/09/15 (GMT). Basically the Planet Earth blocks most of the sun light from hitting the moon as it moves in between the Sun and moon.Though some red light from the sun is filtered through the Earths atmosphere which is then reflected from the moon into our eyes.
I didn't take a picture as my camera isn't good enough ,but this image is very much what it looked like from where I live in England.
This website has pictures taken from many countries.

Before science shed light on the physics of what causers a Red moon the astronomical event was seen as a Bad sign of things to come. Probably Due to them being red and due to a lack of scientific understanding on what was actually happening. Actually some religious types still insist it's some sort of sign. But if your looking for something to prove your imagined destiny right, anything and everything can be some sort of sign ( A sign that some people would benefit emotionally by understanding a little more science perhaps).

Hello IB1 .... Good night ....
First, sorry but my level of English is low and use google translator to translate the conversations ...
The moon is a celestial body that always attracted me without knowing why .... Thanks for the explanation of the phenomenon of the day 09/29/2015
Here in Barcelona could be seen clearly and it was a spectacle. Here, in this type of eclipse, it is called "Blood Moon" (Luna de Sangre) obviously by its reddish color, and you're right when you say that is associated with tragedies and catastrophes ...
By the way .... great photography
Cheers

Some scientifically illiterate people associate the "blood moon" with whatever they choose to imagine.
The event itself does not have any significant correlation with causing tragedies and catastrophes.
However, anthropogenic induced climate change (increasing atmospheric pollutants) is and will increasingly cause events, that for some humans, will be tragic and catastrophic.
I’m relieved to hear that many leaders (both political and religious) are now understanding the extent of the threats that environmental negligence is/will cause.
However (with present over consumption/throw away lifestyles) our children will have to deal with some very big challengers that the current generation seem unwilling to deal with.
Though there is lots of Good news also. Huge parts of the oceans are being protected from over fishing. climate talks on cutting global CO2 emissions are...? (well their are least talking about the use of resource’s rather than fighting over them.)
And some species of animals (whales for example) have been saved from extinction. (many other species continue to become extinct ) .
Interesting times .

Today difficult to find a good club music, a sense of the current filing fashionable club music
"fashionable club music". The copy right enforcement acts have lot to do with this.
Maybe we should start a thread that links to music tracks and or mixes that stand out from the crowd/group. Crowd mentality/conforming/copying the groups/scenes behaviour and or beliefs is a characteristic trait of all primates and other orders of animals like birds.
Back in evolutionary history (and in some comparably less free society’s today) conforming to the groups behaviour gave an advantage for survival (Atheists still get murdered in country’s like India, simply by saying they are atheists).
To put this form of horrible behaviour into it's evolutionary context. Millions of years ago in Africa, If you were in a big group you would be statistically less likely to be the one eaten by a predator (Of course that's an extreme over simplification).
Fashion and religion are just another extension of that inherited evolutionary behaviour. Also by definition, the most popular music is music that's copying every other form of popular music. Many people just want to make music that is popular (popularity conformation bias) or music that they hope will make money (understandable as it may put food on the table, but not a way to make interesting music)(capitalism) or both--arggggg!- boring unoriginal music.
Here is a thought experiment ( you should have the right to be free to think how you wish and act according to the forms of free thought, both individually and socially ( your actions shouldn’t impose on others freedom)
Choose a very popular Dj/music track etc. One that featured some lyrics. Now imagine the music was the same musically/melodically but the lyrics were changed so that they featured, for example, some social injustice or sang about greedy financial institutions making billions using other people as if they were almost slaves and paying them poorly.
They wouldn’t become popular, as the fashion now is many people using music as a form of escapism from reality (take a look at many of the mix titles - e.g - dreamers . They want to escape reality. Quite often it's the anthropogenic (human caused aspects) of reality they want to escape.
It would prove more rewarding if music was inspiring them to find methods in which to change those forms of repression in their society’s (But dictators tend to favour force, including force legalised by their own mandates). However, groups usually follow the fashion they don't make it. In the west it sounds like the Dj/music industry sets the fashion and it tends to be a form of creationism or some other form of group conformity (wave your hands in the air like you just don't care!.. why don't they want to care?)
It won't last as fashions/religions/ Dj Deity’s are very transient in nature, as they are not supported by any evidence (They are based on the imagination which is a product of the biologically brain).
Just like the western model for financial growth is essentially based on the imagination (and the feeling that having wealth now makes you feel more secure now, regardless of the future or how other country’s may suffer because that wealth is at the cost of other country’s potential to make wealth as they use their resources). When reality bites, as it evidently will, the human race will have depleted most of the worlds natural resources and polluted most of it's biosphere.
The imagination can be a terrible thing if it's not kept in check by the evidence/logic.

Science doesn’t do prophecy. It users statistics (maths) in order to measure what is most likely going to happen ( e.g - mathematical dice where the dice has some random variability -numbers,also some fundamental characteristics - Gravity) .
That will be no conciliation to the families whom (if the storm hits land) will lose some loved ones.

Nice graphic from the original poster but it makes Europe and the rest of the world look like music didn't exist until >1960
Christian hymns had their foundations in Egyptian hymns then Greek all around 7BC
Still, it's a pretty picture

Haven’t checked on the data used to map the graphic, however it starts in the right place (but way too late). As the oldest Hominid fossils have been located in the African continent dated approximately as 2.8 million years old. Thus logically you could hypothesize that Africa is where the first musical instrument was played. But it's hard to theorize how we could ever know when music was first played by a human. Of coarse certain other animals ,e.g. Bird etc had been making musical calls way before this period.
