ppl dont comment on uploads

who else thinks that this is the most annoying thing after u go through hell uploading somthing and lots of ppl dl and u dony know what any body thinks ..there r about 20 users only who comment on torrents the rest r like ghosts they dont do anything

I agree but you can't force them i think we are in the right direction with this ratio stuff. When we weed out the dead wood things will get better ( I hope ) i remember posting a desyn Masiello set once it was grabbed 172 times not a single thank you - not a single comment it's actually depressing for uploaders but on the other hand you could be leecher for life - I prefer to upload even if they don't say anything.

here's what i think about it... i think we could make them do that... say like this.. for those, whose ratio is too small and no downloading is allowed, we could do such an option, to post comments on torrents and to take part in forums. than each post will count for 5mb*, giving 16-18 posts average would need to download an hourly set with 192kbps bitrate. and, say, to protect from flooders on old torrents, we could restrict posting comments to only newer torrents within last 2 weeks. so.. after those needed mb* accumulated for a set, person downloads torrent file and is able to download that special torrent. but when download finishes that imaginary mb* is gone and new posts are needed... what do you think? :)

I'd like to say that it's nice when uploader write a short comment abaut the uploaded mix, then it's easier to choose whether dwl file or not. When I see only bitrate & time it's not much Tracklist is a good stuff too, btw. thx zahran 4 searching traclists even on torrents U didn't upload :]

As usual, slash got another brilliant idea .. but you must restrict posting to be one for every torrent, maybe more when other people post comments too however it doesnt make sense to comment on a set you didn't have or listen before, but it will push people to do so for downloading

at last I'd like to say that all of us (uploaders) sure feel so disappointed when we find no comments and voting for our uploaded torrents especially when it is snatched many times ... I just want the people here to understand that we are like one family or a closed community. there must be a little cooperation here and we have to not only share music,but also share our feelings and thoughts ... I have a strong feeling that one day this site will be the best of the best, it's one of the best right now anyway, a super site :)  

ur welcome ...really like searching 4 tracklsists its  a habbit i have...(my favorite user on the site COLDASICE) ...and most important ppl must comment so every one knows if the torrent is good or bad...thats what comments r 4 in the first place

definately you are right ... COLDASICE is one of the most active users here, and if all users are like him, this site will be totally different

ohhh & I think that your idea is pretty nice, specially for ppl with low upload speed. Some of them are desperate , so they could dwl for sharing their feelings with us :]

ur right this site is addictivr ever since i became an uploader ive been spending most of my days on this site

i think it pretty much is easy. but it is after this weekend. cause i'll have A LOT to do on friday.. most of the code is already ready, but not tested.

Yes, more comments would be very good ! But I'm in fear that most people will write something like "oh very very good - thank you" and so on or rate torrent as 5. I mostly download sets from djs which I know or I find very interesting to listen to. And then I rate in most cases 4 to 5.
I appreciate more rates too, especially when they are honest. It would help to decide between downloading one set or not. And you could find users with similar tastes etc. ...

Another point: on some days I notice many new sets. This makes downloading decision difficult too and downloaded sets need to be listened and there are many interesting new sets the next day and so on.
