Uploading rights are REVOKED after 1 Single Mistake!!!

many users are writing to me asking me to restore their uploading rights, saying they didn't notice, didn't look, or didn't really think a mix that was deleted earlier by staff (which results in automatic revocation of the uploading rights & privileges) was already on the website.. well, it doesn't stop the system from punishing you with the cancellation of your uploading..

please note, that NO explanation of yours will help you in such a situation. if you upload a file and notice it's already on, rush and hurry and delete it YOURSELVES, do not wait for staff members to remove it, because in case of your personal action - you do not loose uploading rights. but if you don't care and let staff do it - you loose them rights for ever.

as an example, but of course not to hurt anyone's feelings, i can say, that one of our uploaders team - moemen99999 - was just recently stripped from his uploading rights and demoted down to power user, because he continually didn't want to check for torrents' existence prior to uploading them to the tracker. when that issue finally got out of control (it's all about not making higher staff delete your torrents, as long as you clean up after yourself - you might slip though with these mistakes unnoticed...) this uploader was stopped from being an uploader. up until october 2008. for half a year. i am just mentioning this recent event (and things like this do happen here and there every other day or week) to point out, that there will be NO discrimination allowed in this case, and ALL rule-breakers WILL BE punished accordingly.

ps. that includes shoutbox spammers as well... write more than 2 lines in your own language (not english) - and you're banned from this website.. 1-2 lines - warning from 7 days to 28 days long.

I was just revoked from my uploading rights and i dont care for them but one thing,,,we are not kiddos who piss on tribalmixes ground and clean up after themselves........... i felt speachless  when i read the forum post. its really written in an offensive syntax and not an attitude of someone that has lots of responsibilities like u slash (i really felt disappointed)..... if we do like the kiddos and we dont clean then u check the dates ur smart and clean uploaders write on their torrents

i was revoked from my uploading rights because one clean uploader published hernan cattaneo mix with the date 5th april while actually hernan played it on 6th april

i made sure there were no hernan on that day(6th of april) and i uploaded the correct dates yet my uploading is off and some clean user with wrong dates continues uploading.

this isnt a case of punishment, we r not babies and u r the older parent who will punish us (even if ur older,, then this shouldnt have been the way to tell everyone to clean after themselves),, this is a case of rights,,,, if momen9999 made it several times as u say i never have uploaded twice,,, the guy published things wrong,,, so HEY EVERYONE CHECK TRIBAL MIXES WHOLE SITE SINCE IT WAS PUBLISHED TO KNOW IF  THE TORRENT U WANT TO UPLOAD IS THERE ON THE SITE OR NOT AND AFTER THAT IF ITS NOT THERE UPLOAD UR TORRENT ( at this moment u will be partying in the next millennium).

This case should be more flexible in dealing with and according to the situation it is judged to revoke or not ,,, but u just go by and say i revoke u and i revoke u without even understanding the flaws and errors on ur site... BTW moemen was a good uploader ,,, most of us liked his torrents and remember we donot lose,, we get the music,,, but tribalmixes is the one who loses the good uploaders ,, the good music and even loses its reputation!!!

No, the actual date of the show is 5-Apr-2008, the show is broadcast in Argentina (Metro 95.1 Fm) on sat. night of every week, your date is incorrect

i do think the punishment is too harsh ,but if u leave it without punishment no one would really care ,but i think a warning before revoking would be nice ,but if the uploader or power user did it again then revoke his/her uploading rights cause he/she didnt really care to check ,other from that i'm really sorry for moemen cause he was one hell of an uploader who was one of the main uploaders in the past few month ,other than that i think that the half year ban from upload is too long ,maybe a quarter or even 120--160 days is a little bit better for the revoked person.

Well Mr. Mohammed sorry if you felt that slash is offensive but actually he is not , and lets take logic if you uploaded Hernan Cattaneo mix which is on 6th of April and some other uploader uploaded it on 5th of april have you ever heard Hernan playing metro dance couple times in a week and in 2 days after each other , this is the first thing second thing is when slash typed ( you have to clean after your self ) he did mean that you are a kid but he said that you are an amateur in uploading thing and you still have to learn and all the learning stuff is in the FAQ , or you could simply search in the forums to find any help for your questions or contact any of the professional uploaders , then also if every one keep uploading stuff which is uploaded before it will be a mess and buddy we don't want mess in the website , if you want to search on something easy and efficient please check our very big library called E-browser which is the best way of searching for any single torrent dead or not  

5th of April or 6th it depends on timing buddy it's 6 for us but 5 in the time it was recorded and uploaded

If you had been watching the comments in your upload of the set you were asked by zahran & bidona to remove the torrent because it was already here, after a couple of hours in which you had uploaded another set also, you failed to address the requests to delete the set or even reply to their comments, thats why it was deleted.

i was away iam not fully dedicated to the site thats the first of it

secondly i really appreciate the talk of willy and i never knew hernan doesnot release 2 sets in one week
cuz i only keep him for my library but i dont listen to hernan much

but on the other hand some dj release more than 2 sets in a single week

however i agree with u willy completely but u guyz should be more flexible on this topic and slash attitude should be consider plz

uploading =  who cares to share his personal music  iam fine in that scene and i get tribalmixes music and share it with tribalmixes only

ok just maybe we've got some problems that maybe you mohammed don't know like if you know the number of pwr users that there uploading rights have been revoked from them they are thousands really they are alot , and about the e browser just type the first or the last name of the dj in the search tab in the grey b0x you have you will find every thing for this dj his bio,pic,history torrents, & active torrents and belive me it way easy I wish you could ask for some help before uploading I know your potential in sharing some stuff but we can't just pass over this rule specifically coz there is alot of ppl have done this thing and maybe for better reasons like the torrent he uploaded was uploaded before and the first torrent was having 1 letter add in the dj name and the pwr user uploaded it right so .... don't be upset we will get you all the music you need and if you have something you wanna share come on tell any of the high speed uploaders to help you in sharing it faster.and for your info the only reason for uploading a set uploaded before is getting the better quality , and we will delete the lower quality one .
keep your self relaxed and we will get you all what you want with quality and high speed guaranteed

fabric8 just posted a line from log according to which i've written my statement 2. it is very good that i didn't read nothing here before i answered that personal message, because knowing now that i have very bad attitude, i would have been more harsh, of course trying to live up to this acquisitions... very very good, i just used cold judgment... very lucky, indeed...

for those who thinks these uploading rules should be reworked i can say.. there is over 1500 power users on this website. if each one out of 10 will try to upload a faulty torrent, or an old torrent, or illegal torrent, or anything else, there will be 150 torrents for moderators and admins to remove. the worst part is that tomorrow every second power user out of each 10 will do the same... and they will have a full right to do it, since they have 1 mistake to make before they make the final 1.. which is the way it was before. and was dropped as a rule that allowed too many doubles on the torrents page. i hope some of us might remember that...

for user moodiahmed, again i would say, please try to avoid calling me on my attitude and criticizing my ways in general.. most of them are discussed with at least 30 trusted people before originated into life, some of them new things are decided by thousands of the website's users... but after all i made this place, it's kinda my home... offended people like you, they come and go, some of them manage to spit on the floor, and maybe "piss  on the ground", as you're saying, but it's ok, this house is now our house, it's not me alone who will clean up the mess after "offended ones", my brothers will help, and we'll go on doing it the right way (you know, checking if files are already on the tracker)...

I like the fact that you say.."my brothers will help" I have been here a while. Not sure what site i would be visiting if i never found this one. MANY others have been here longer than me too. And that's right we will back you up all the way!!!! This kind of thing happens all the time, and some get lucky and get promoted above pwr user but most try to argue and they don't realize that you have logs that prove all that you say and happens here.
