ID3 tags

Is there a reason why many of the torrents on this site don't utilize ID3 tags?  Many of the scene releases seem to, but many of the others don't.

is there a reason you ask this question?

It's just a pain to organize music or tell what it is if the tags contain useless information or no information at all.

changing tags changes the mp3 files, makes torrents obsolete, 99.3% complete, etc.

and it is up to those who record or "produce" the mp3 to add the tags. besides they also need to upload torrent, add info there, possibly tracklist and photo or banner... you don't think uploaders do enough already? do your part, bro. pumper yourself - yourself. you wanna add tags - go ahead...

theres enough products around to do this for you..or are you too lazy  and arrogant to look which sounds like it.. I suggest you appreciate what TM offers you, however with 1512 downloads and 2 forum posts in 5 years theres no chance of that happening

I do tag them myself.  Of course after I tag them, it changes the files in the torrent.  I just thought if they were tagged from the very beginning with relevant artist/genre/etc, then that would provide more accurate tags to everyone that grabbed the files later.  I tend to rely on the ID3 tags a lot, but apparently others don't - or don't mind setting them to whatever they want.  I just thought it would be helpful, but it seems like nobody else thinks so....so I don't mind tagging when needed.

I didn't mean to sound unappreciative of the uploaders or anyone else, I realize they contribute way more than I have or can.
