well, like i said, it's really not one of my strong points. things like that usually take me quite some time. and at the moment i might not have that much. i can give it a shot in the weekend i think.
but i'm not confident enough to make promises, accept maybe that redaction would still be necessary.

If you think the info that was on that page combined with the posts you are referring to is enough, i think i  can do it.
the ratio page is no longer visible so i'm not quite sure what was there. could you send me a copy of the text in any form?

that said, i'm not to worried about credits, and being moderator usually means being the bigger man and not ranting against users :) which might be a liberty i'm not willing to sacrifice

also thanks for your suggestion for using ratio-free awards, i got 1hr ratio free from the lottery today, now i know what to do with it

there's no rush. and there's been nothing useful on that page before. apparently an affirmation of your share ratio being above the required minimum is very confusing..

i mean your own post or two above the long one, several posts in this thread had valid points and useful info.

and bro, don't diminish the "value" of this deed.. there's like 7-8 people on the site that can write a post that long. =)

thanks again for the free-ratio tip. the 1hr lottery award shaved 10gb off of my download stat, thats 20k points if bought as download debit. so it made me very happy

after all said and written and done, imagine how frustrating it feels sometimes to be accused of charging for downloads.. fucking ridiculous... there are ways FOR EVERYONE with any access (even on smartphones) to keep up with new music (i.e. download it) and keep share ratio above the required minimum. why? because i, the site pusher and developer, i know, that most and foremost important thing is user participation. do some things here and there - and you're good to go download more.

for lazy f###s, for those, who busy, unwilling or simply dumb, AND, please, note, AND for users appreciating what we, tribalmixes team, do every day for free, there's a way to avoid hassle and donate. i personally prefer comments and posts over donations..

don't try to figure out ratio rules if you're an e-tard, use mixcloud

Why people hate the share raito rules? If everyone is like them there will be no seeders and the torrents will die faster...

I've underestimated how quiet this site is & it didn't take long to get a ratio warning.
Now I keep being redirected to this message but I can't actually download anything even from this section as it claims I can?
Am I doing something totally wrong!

assuming you didn't notice the warnings and faq when joining, here is the faq

there's some useful stuff in there.

you need to upload about 16gb to get rid of your warning.
if you seed often(full-time perhaps) and collect your points daily, you should be able to make it in the 50 days you have left.
it won't be easy though.

if you post on the forums daily and help make this quite site more lively, get your daily points, and buy 100 lottery tickets daily. you should be able to get a bare minimum of 200 points per day = 10000 points = 10gb, which is almost 65% of your problem taken care off. with a bit of luck at the lottery and daily prize and more then a few posts/comments, it should be able to help you with all your problems, but you need to do it daily.

when it comes to the seeding. you will find a LOT of useful information in the last 3 pages of this topic.

i'm not sure why the warning refers the releases section, torrents that will become ratio-free are not yet ratio-free. ratio-free torrents can be recognized by the giftbox image, placed where other torrents have their "time-since-upload field".

you can find these torrents pretty much anywhere, but the main torrent page is a good place to start as fresh ratio-free torrents will probably be better then older torrents.
i would recommend the edc videos, which are ratio-free torrents in high demand.
don't download them all at once.

Tried downloading even ratio free torrents & I still get redirected to the same message as above.
It's an endless loop and impossible to get anything & fix my ratio.

i've heard that before, i don't know whats going on there, but i have also heard that after a while it worked again.
when it comes to this the only thing i can say is: try again later, sorry.
you could try clearing the cache of your browser(while all tabs are closed), but i can't guarantee that'll work.

and i'm sorry but i mixed something up, you'll need another 11gb not 16gb.

I deleted the .torrent file and don't have a high enough ratio to get it back from the website to seed it.  Is there another way to get it back so I can get some seeding credit or do I have to use points to raise my ratio?  Also how long does it usually take for the download credit thing to kick in?  The files I downloaded were ratio-free and I got the credit for it and used it, but my ratio is still incredibly low.
