Wow, a very mature response. I kinda expected more from a moderator/admin/sysop or whatever slash's status is. But I guess spamming the same word ~150 times and using that kind of language is permitted after all.
How hard is it guys? Just participate the tiniest bit and you'll be fine. If you don't want to contribute, you're not a power user. Case closed.

yeah, honestly, who gives a shit. if you don't like the website and can't be arsed to put time into writing 20 torrent comments and 10 forum posts then fack off. IMO it should be reversed, 20 forum posts and 10 torrent comments. It would give this place more sense of community rather than a download and leave type mentality. Who knows, you may find you like talking on here with like minded people.
Slash over the years has put countless dollars in maintaining this website and developing it into his vision and it still stands as the best place to locate livesets.
Sure you can download mixes now on Soundcloud or stream on YouTube or Mixcloud but a lot of uploaders here take time and effort in ripping livestreams such as be-at.tv and provide a great service. The least we can do is be a little thankful.
So quit your whining, keep calm and carry on 'Powder User', before going on another Columbian-flake-induced futile rampage.
Don't like the new rules and don't want to participate, it's not the end of the world... you'll just lose your power user status and need to remember to log in once a month. Is that too hard to do, it takes at most 30 seconds, and that's if you're on dial-up or in an area with bad mobile signal coverage.

I just read this entire thread and found it interesting - so many valid comments from both sides. I fit in to quite a few categories but think I have a new one - not competent to comment. I can say I like a certain track but have no idea as to how to properly critique or compare. Unless somebody knows me; why would my recommendation mean anything? Nor do I have time. I know what I like when I hear it - hey, guess where my name came from. I use the Most Popular Download listing to steer me to my d/l's.

only if you meet the new comment and post quotas. Otherwise you drop to a user status and can not disable them
