i think we can now get rid of the old navigation cells on the left hand side of the page... also somehow i cannot find the reseed page anymore...well unless i ask for a reseed...but otherwise i can't get to it
also is there a way to change colors on the new ajax bar?

did you forget to use "can't" first time, or you admit that you really can access those things?
i finally understand what you mean by "switch" - while fixing one thing i missed out another, and couldn't understand what's up until set up few of the default categories for myself and saw that clicking on genre still shows old genre. honestly,

Is that planned to use passkey system in torrents?
Hey thanks for the response slash. Things arent as bad as they were, the website is running alot smoother now. Pages are loading and i can navigate well now. It may just take a bit of getting used to... Im going to clean IE cache now, that will probly help too...

if you haven't yet noticed, everyone has been switched to new design. there are some issues still with proper caching-displaying updated info, which is gonna be taken care of along the way. if your browser doesn't want to load new 'info' on pages - set it to 'no-cache' options/preferences for the time being.
and again. if this new design and setup shows to be working poorer (in general mass) than the old design, - old one will be returned! just consider website "under construction" now, under modernization will sound better...

Thanks Slash for your great, awesome work!!! I like the new design! I think it's faster now. I have only a little problem: When i click on a e-browser banner i get the message "ajax error...
404 - Not Found". I use firefox 2.0.0.4.
404 - Not Found". I use firefox 2.0.0.4.
i just thought: WTF blank site! all torrents down?!
then i go back to the first tab of my firefox and using the gesture to open the desired links to the torrents in new background-tabs again.
fukin same result: WTF blank sites!!!
back to the main site an clicked a torrent directly...
shit the TM site is down! no loading in progress bar, no status bar! shit happens...
plopp! site with torrent opened. WTF!
back to main site, mouseover WTF JAVASCRIPT!
okay its ur site. imho ajax is applicable to webapplications. never considered TM a webapp...
however from me it is def a -1
resume: less usable TM!
just my 2cents

ok here's the first modest "user" pointin out some stuff i noticed , thanx alot slash i think u worked pretty hard on this.
im using IE6...dflt WinXPSP2
I think the first thing 2 do 2 get used 2 this system is 2 read the stuff u wrote esp. about the "empty button" and "update cache (check 4 updates everytime in IE)" gets much better when u do that.
browsing between pages is much faster, u dont have 2 wait for the whole page to load which is perfect, esp. with low bandwidth users like me downloadin all the time. However, banners dont change so i dont get different ads and so mayb, google clicks are gonna b less.
I dont have 2 refresh everytime 2 check 4 mail or ratio or connectable peers, just click the empty button, amazing.
still there is problems with the cache, eg when u change skins, u have 2 refresh and not in the profile page thou, cus then u get the "att: 2 avoide spam and dbl posting" warning.
everything can fit in that ajax grey header and so its about time 2 get rid of the side buttons, especially at torrents page where the name of uploaders is hidden (u have 2 shift 2 right), and they r not the best looking anyway. btw a new skin mathching the colour would b gr8, it is a GREY header...
with me using IE pages always load 4m the bottom?
I think this is gonna save so much time browsing and bandwidth on the long run when small bugs are fixed and when i get more used 2 it.
btw is there a way 2 put immortal points and number of awards in the grey header. in the status tab mayb that would be excellent, saving so much time 2 go2 awards all the time.
magnificent work. keep the hard work and really this is gonna b really helpful
and easy 2 use.

the sorry part about this interface is it doesn't save un-submitted forum post if you forget about it and click somewhere else... lost so much time... such a long post... anyways... make it short.
marymove, thanks, i'll fix
tommix, thanks for honesty, mind your language
7mika7, thanks for great report, i'll put rating on the status tab and about removing the old stack of buttons on the left, i dunno, maybe some people like them... let's have a poll...

hey slash,
I have dropped IE 6 in favor of Firefox. After deleting the files in the cashe I have found the website runs smooth and the pages load faster than they ever did . But unfortunately I have much tinkering to do with Firefox I find this browser leaves much to be desired...
Also I have discovered your 'empty' button, I took awhile to find it b/c it's invisible . I like it alot
To improve the site I was wondering if you were going to implement colour options to the main tabs, if it were able to match the rest of the website skin that would be nice. I find the light pink on grey difficult/boring to read.
ummm, just another thing I noticed, I think it's odd when you click on 'add reply' to forum post or 'add comment' to a torrent, you are prompted to the middle of the page. If possible, could you be brought to the top? just wondering...
I'm still not 100% sure of this interface but its not like anyone has a choice. I appreciate all your hard work doing this and for maintaining this site for so long. I've got alot of respect for people that can program and do web design. That stuff isn't easy at all .

i just would like to say thank you to the two masterminds behind all this slash you already know how thankful we are, so i would like to extend a very big thanks to viktor who also made this possible but he actually isn't thank as much anyways... i just found out that there is an invisible button!!! i had no idea! so i am going to start looking for it! pretty cool huh.. and i think that the left side button should go away or at least make them an "option" the page will look much more aesthetic when they are removed. thank you
