That was slash certainly. There are lots of good torrent sites out there, you do not need to be married with this one.
From my own experience (see also my own post above), the new design is currently in beta or alpha stage and needs some polishing. That usually will take some time and I would prefer to keep the old design as long as possible util all the bugs are squeezed out.

With the new poll: "has the sidebar to go?" - if I would select "yes" and the sidebar goes then I would loose all my upload rights. Only the sidebar provides me a link to the upload page.
I have several options on the left side I do not have at the top... So my answer is "No".

of course i would move all missing links to the control panel.
i understand that sometimes i might act weird and stuff, but i do watch over several things at a time. and as a big secret, i do have another 10 links more in my vertical menu, so i'll have to arrange a place for them as well. so don't you worry, my friend.

i wonder out of the first 500 people who voted on the poll how many thought that the links on the left hand side would just disappear? i think this makes the poll not meet its goal...can we have a new poll?

Well good work for starting to redesign the site. I found the old one confusing, buttons and links all over the place, 2 menus, yellow icons that I could not understand what they are.
Heres some notes on the new site. I am using Avantbrowser which is basically IE7
Links in the RSS feed don't work. They just go to the home page. e.g. I tried this link: https://www.tribalmixes.com/details.php?id=19137&hit=1
Forums: clicked "add reply" then and had to scroll up to find the box
Does the header image need to be so large? It takes too much space. I am using the twilight theme

it's funny, isn't it?
honestly, i was gonna say "who cares" answer equals to "why not?", and that one in its case is pretty much like "true, true"... but if you guys insist, new poll on this, without "so-so" option.
I'm used to it now ,Thankyou Slash and viKtor and everyone who contributed

Well since friday on the grey box it has said that I am 100% not connectable!
It has nothing to do with routers/portforwarding/firewalls,or any of my settings as peeps are still uploading,I have set my uploads to no-limit and my ratio changes accordingly to reflect what users are uploading. So I don't know anymore wether it has something to do with ajax or not.
Does anyone else have the same problem?

being connectable has nothing to do with uploading/downloading in general. it only means that people connecting to you will not be able to get through, as server couldn't in moment that your client reported the new peer, maybe server was overloaded or your client was, who knows, try restarting peers one after another, if your peers have always been 'good' before, you will see 'all connectable' after restarted all peers. and anyways, if you're trying to show me something, please leave some peers active next time, - it will be easier for me to understand "what"...
I use the links on the left everytime im on tribalmixes, they're quick, easy and convienient. If you make any changes to them I think they must be accesible and usable. I personally think the left hand menu should stay, but the new poll says otherwise . Dear god, just please dont incorperate it into a tab in the grey box, that would be awful . Thx alot...

whatever your crying, i've already decided this stuff will disappear by default, but will be optional through outlook. that is of course if "true, true" wins the poll.
It seems to have returned all back to normal today,I did restart all peers one @ a time & it did work :)
And after a reboot this morning all was fine.
I hate bein unconnectable! Thanx

oh.. why do i have to pull out everything out of you, my friends? ... =)
anyways.. well, i think most pages that must always update - do that, most of the links work and most of the situations have been covered. added immortal points and rearranged links on 'status', changed 'stuff' (added 'reseed') and 'yellow' tabs, as well as 'help' a little.
i've also done this weird feature, but i dunno maybe it will be more useful on a long run? now when you click some link and it doesn't have any special directives like #linkf at the end, your browser will auto-focus on control panel.
so clean up your browser cache, or set it to reload every time, and check it out... this mostly goes for ie users, since firefox doesn't show any problems, while ie annoyingly reuses cache everywhere it can...
