i can hardly keep calm here, but i will calmly ask you: what browser are you using?
 do i get a three day warning now?

i was saying that because: yes, i was unfamiliar with mouse gestures, as i wasn't aware of the mouse wheel usage for new-tab-opening. i will definitely accept that. and yes, i am simply overfilled with emotions, when users bring down the result of the issue and demand solutions without the middle part - useful and informative communication on the problem issue.

since tm turned into a cute web-application there aren't any links on the pages annymore, only javascript commands. thats okay i guess an app needs command-buttons, no links...
well i see gnajamo is very adaptive and uses the mouse plus key version. he also admitts that is one click more. haha just one click more that makes two = effort doubled!
very evolving! isn't it?

ok good, so can we rename this topic into "tm is now even easier to browse"? =)
ur kidding are you?!
but ur luky!
seems im the only one on tm using the most efficient way to browse websites ...
i dont want you to drop the nice ajax project just becaus of me.
not even because of other

thanks for allowing me to go on here, you're very generous. and i will. in the meantime, it is very sad, - the way you bring it all up. my friend, why do i need to run after you asking how would you like this or that done? how would you feel if i did this or that? isn't it you, the end user, who's supposed to explain in details what stuff isn't good any more for you, what's up and down, and if you do have problems or issues, as i mentioned before, - i can enable back the Olde Design personally for you to enjoy it. by making fun of me, are you trying to convince me into doing so? not a good strategy. and i'm not a bad person, you know, i give warnings for rule-breaking, and apologize if something bad was my responsibility. i try to work with people, if they answer the same way to me. you know?

i have more to say here. things hard for me to accept, but the truth is, after putting quite a large amount of time in this project, i realize, that i could've done it differently, and it would require less resources, and links there would look like usual links.. still would be alot of javascript, but background mechanics i would change in the way of simplifying the processes, removing some extra checks and revamps. but you don't really need to know this, as i can't really work with you on it...

I received an email not so very long ago telling me the advantages of donating money to tm!
I was led to believe that doing so would make things better;Glad i didn't donate more than I already have done,& I will probably not donate anything further, because instead of making things easier for the user, quite the contrary has happened!imho since the changeover I dont use the site as much as I did b4
simply because of the navigating I have to do to go from one page to another,& it is like I am on a dial up connection, instead of high speed broadband,I am constantly having to close my browser (IE7) &
reopen it again,in order to get any response at all from the site.
Looking @ the points etc that I would need to have in order to revert back to the old design hardly is worth me being here at all.So my donations up to date,& the fact that I am a good sharer count for nothing,as I am stuck (in my estimation) with this crap new design for another year unless I am willing to lick ass,or part with more money.
I will do neither!
In my estimation there has been a very big mistake made here!

here's another great example of a man who works together with you on his own problems. you can say whatever you suspect is right here, although i would recommend to hold your horses and mind your language.. i do not understand, why do i have to be the one who's chasing such friendly users to offer them old setup back, when they say things like this to me?

ps. my dear friend, your donations, as much as they weren't done made in the Marathon Period, so what kind of things you're talking about there? email was trying to convince that becoming a Platinum User will give alot of Advantages, and Donating in General is towards the purchase of a new server, i'm afraid, with $2k we cannot do that yet. well, have a good time!

guys whats wrong with u??TomMix is afraid that he has to click one more button to open the tab? LOL yes i also used the middlebutton mouse.. BUT WHO THE F... CARES. i get alot of good music..who cares how many buttons i click(in the case 1 or 2   ) .. And yes with the new design some functions like Reload or Back are FEW more seconds slower..but guys WHO CARES ABOUT ONE OR TWO CLICKS OR 2 OR 3 SECS TO RELOAD??r u that lazy??u see that slash works his ass off to brings us a better website and u still are talking shitty things to him..if u have a problem explain it friendly!
@ slash: bro, dont make polls like that!ppl like these dont deserve to choose..u should make what u have to do, no matter what ppl say..

and so nobody gets mad @ me i will write with big words This is MY opinion!

havent expected ur unfamiliar with gestures, sorry about that ...

okay to sum this up in a view of an enduser like me:
tm changes to a web-application that is ajax based.
-no more links on the site
-no more title description of my window/tab. only tribalmixes dot com :: details for TomMix
-no more title in the history only tribalmixes dot com :: details for TomMix
-no more mouse gestures
-massive javascript website generation on my client
-a totally javascript based site (what about ppl that have javascript disabled?)
-no more loading status of the site visible (please dont tell me that little throbber up in the menue is a replacement for the browsers one or the status bar)
-strange behaviour by using back and forth on the site

hence the effort of browsing tm as a website, i really hope it isnt really a web-application, is doubled and the comfort is halved.
i have to alter my browsing style very massive. and i dont like it and i dont see the advantage at all sorry. maybe u can help to find an ajax advantage for TomMix on tm?
how would you feel if u would have to open two doors, instead of one or none, to get a cup out of the kitchen cupboard from today on?

i admitt, i see the good thing in this, that u will save a lot of bandwidth on ur server.
and i totally agree to that argument!
if u would declare: peeps there is no money. we have to cut the costs and that means ajax. over and out!
but all the other mentioned 'so called advantages of the new website-engine' i dont buy. sorry to say that but i have to.

learning by doing that is okay. but u have to consider there is at least one user who has to live/browse with the result
maybe a betatest would have been suitable? was there one?
and im a good guy too, a critical one though :D
