Torrent Search Function, page 1

I was just using the search function and noticed that it brings up many results and sometimes it is very broad. I wanted to suggest a function where you can choose what areas to search (Description, title etc......). If you type in deep dish it brings every set that has a deep dish track in it. I also tried to look for mark Knight sets and it would bring up any set that had the word "mark" in it. I even tried using quotations around the full name like google and it still didnt work.

I love this website and know that it is very hard to keep up, but I just wanted to suggest this idea as I think it would greatly aide the users os this website    :-)

:-) To me, "the most powerful searching engine" is not convenient at all.
The searching engine, instead of reducing the information, adds irrelevant also.
I feel we do not have searching tool. I had many troubles with the searching engine. Maybe, this was the reason for me to start ripping XM radio – no need for searching, at least for now.
I think we need a normal searching engine also.

I can't believe I've been using this site for over a year now and never tried the e-browser. I always wanted to click on it but thought it would be something weird and unnecessary. That function has made my life alot easier. :)

I would say it again in other words.
One of fundamental definitions of Information Processing is reducing the set we use to make a choice.
So, we need a searching engine capable of reducing the information we process. I do not see such capabilities. Or maybe I do not know them?
