Anyone else into playing your own beats

I play a African drum called the Djembe. It has a nice high when struck with the hand near the edge & a decent bass when struck in it's centre. The drums shell is made from hand carved local wood & it's head is traditionally made out of goat skin.

The Djembe originating from Africa ,has it's roots intertwined in the continent  where sound may of first been controlled with instruments for pleasure rather than species using sound for communication ( fossil & stone tool evidence has shown early human beings were in that area  ) .

Musics early origins, being played together in tribes or family's, is where the sound will eventually lead human beings to play together once more, at the core of their culture. & with a higher state of rhythmical consciousness help to forget all the fantasy based beliefs that have caused us to be at odds to our selves in the past & live by reason & in the light of truth.

ONE Rhythm!
Music is physics brought to life with biology.
