Whats with the crazy titles in EDM Culture, page 1

Hi,

Like the subject heading asks,why are their torrent mixers,Dj names  that use various words relating to a unhealthy state of mind-I.e Insane.

A example is a new Tribalmixes radio show entitled - Bandzius, Style Clash - Absolute Madness 001 (GRAND OPENING) on Tribalmixes Radio - 11-Jun-2009

Why Label a show 'Absolute Madness' ? Are these just words that if you say in certain EDM culture or teenage culture are now seen as being, is like ,cool & in touch,with it etc etc .

Many times I read simple reviews from tribalmixes listeners that describe a mix or a Dj as Crazy or insane.Which in the context of the sentence seems to really mean - A Mix they like .

Is this something related to the Drug Culture that follows Dance music & to some extent certainly shapes some of the more unbalanced mixers I hear ..

I'm asking because I love music    especially with drums & want more people to listen & understands the benefits that listening,dancing & feeling percussive music can bring .

But how can titles like 'Absolute Madness' or Dj screwed on drugs' help promote the Music ??? .

Something I just wanted to say back then.I know it's merely the 'fashionable' slang words that people whom like to feel part of a group all say.Like verbally hanging out together.

It's just so contradictory applying the meanings of a unbalanced mind to music.music which needs Good balance to sound right.
Though I have heard worse contradictions in music.How many songs have used the words 'Lose control'  in music or 'Dance & lose control.When sound only becomes Audibly 'musical' to our ears when it's been controlled in some way.The ultimate in sound control is computer produced music, in order to sound more human 'fluid' & slightly less controlled than a machine, producers apply certain 'randomisation//humanize' effects.
And what is dancing if not using the brain to control our body's in time with the music? .

Their are Many  things in human society which are completely contradictory in relation to reality.The imagination is very powerful and can easily be taken for reality if that mind is not based on logical fact.Add to this the  human nature as mentioned above as wanting to 'belong' and you can have society with millions all believing in some complete fabrication of the imagination or what many call religions.They will even kill to defend a belief ( thought) which is just another symptom of a delusional unbalanced mind .


But hey we still live in a human society  where people have all kinds of contradictory beliefs.If we all understood the Facts of life would that set us free? it would certainly stop us fighting over delusions of Grandeur amongst our selves.

Sometimes I think the ICE caps could melt,all seas will become polluted, all the rainforests will be cut down thus the environments oxygen will become low.

I.E - Humankind will destroy their environment thus themselves.

Which will only prove one thing.Humans are/were just Ignorant animals after all that didn;t have the skills to adapt in order to live peacefully with one another and the planet they lived on .Trouble is their will be no human left to learn the lesson.

But that's the worse case scenario,though some science does suggest we may be heading for the green house 'melt down effect' or runaway green house effect.

But then Again history shows that  humanity tends to learn it's lessons the hard way.So maybe sense will prevail eventually and the way to live in harmony with nature will gets it's chance.

RIGHT NOW WE ARE ON BORROWED TIME .THE ICE CAPS MELTING ARE REAL PHYSICALLY EVIDENCE OF THIS FACT.

Respect for nature is the message & dancing is the answer for it's harmonic lesson.

Being right is only of worth in a society based on logic .

Hehe it just doesn't make sense does it!

But hey,repeating again how many songs have you heard with the lyrics or words 'Music makes you lose control' or something similar?

When Again  in order to make music you have to use control.This can be the 'Traditional' way be using your brain to control your body to play a Musical Instrument or the more popular method with Dance music is  using a computer to digitally control the messages that in turn,via a DAC, will control a analogue signal which will be used to move some speakers/headphones and produce a vibration.
Then a person may choose to hear the vibration to control their body and dance.

So in  reality the music we hear is ALL about control.

So the evidence shows that some people just haven't really thought  about what they are saying or and are not quite as 'in touch' with reality as they'd have us believe.

Anyway you can't alter physics by not understanding it  or denying it's truth.

not so long ago most of the world believed the world to be flat . Didn't make any difference to the actual truth .

Belief is  a thought ,knowledge is knowing what those thoughts are :-

But for varied reasons many will never come to understand this fundamental and essential fact of there life.

The question is not why you or I are alive? because initially  we did not make that choice.Our parents Did that for us.The question that matters  is HOW we are alive.

A combination of music,Dance and science can answer that question completely .
