Not heard of any of those, however the only one I would like to go too is Burning Man in the desert...Mallam told me about it last year and it sounds awesome!!!
munkynstar Moderator on May 14th, 2012 / post 46494
Andy avoid this one....

https://www.southwestfour.com/

been twice and its become very shit...as there last year and it the soundsystem is terrible, however Garnier was top for four hours in the Shakeit tent...

I'v been to

https://www.globalgathering.com/

as well, was ok... more trancey dj's and if you don't like camping in a massive field and showering in a massive shower block then its not for you!!!

For me I would prefer to go to Exit festival in Serbia or Tomorrowland in Belgium, there's enough good club nights week in week out, so not sure why you would go to a festival in the UK... Europe is much better as it least it feels like a holiday and the weather is not so shit either!!!

The mind boggles, we get our fair share out here, this site has a good showcase of them all https://www.inthemix.com.au/festivals/brisbane_gold_coast

Slash there are some gems listed there! I have always wanted to go to either Summer or Winter Festival in Spain, The Raveart event!

The latest thing here in Australia is djs touring with big festival and then doing intimate gigs, absolute gold, inside, with a super sound system to soak up the atmosphere and immerse yourself in the music! Give me that anyday over a daytime festival....

One of the better ones on a regular basis here is summafieldayse https://www.inthemix.com.au/allabout/event/737/Summafieldayze. Outdoor event, not far from the beach on the sunny Gold coast. If you are around one day it is a must see. Some main stream acts and some classics. My first year there saw Roger Sanchez tear the decks apart, the man is a genius and i will never forget that day!

Festival's are what the summer is for.... Personally i love festival season. Munkyn mentions Global Gathering & Global defo gets a    from me. I have been going to Global Gathering every year since 2000 ( missed 2007 ) Great festival has it all, Global comes highly recomended!! Creamfields another great festival, always a strong line up but i find it lacks in Atmosphere & Production unlike Global... Been to various others as well Homelands, Gatecrasher Summer Sound System etc etc.. For me though Global Gathering is definately on the TO DO LIST this summer... If anyone from Tribal Mixes is going and wants to meet for a few beers etc etc let me know :-)  :-)  :-)  :-)

slash, I have no desire to go to the US. Detroit is a hellhole (I should know, my mother was born 30 mins from it  ). The Toronto festival is shite, few decent deejays, too many kiddies.

I want to visit REAL festivals....like ones in the UK.

the real festivals do not have famous djs playing, you must know that better than i do..

how come a super star dj picks a nickname that's been used up already?

dj keoki was the name of that latino dude Fez (wilmer vanderrama from that 70's show) when he was in that movie with macaulay culkin - party monster https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0320244/

btw quite a nice flic, i reall enjoyed the moment they took their apartment into pieces looking for that little rock that probably fell under the radiator... hehe.. been there, done that... =)
