I even tried using a different router but no luck

What about trying to connect directly, without using a router? If it's still in "not connectable" status then maybe some software you installed lately affects connectivity.

Thanks viktor1983 & mohamedbasha for your replies

-Yes i have restarted Utorrent & my PC several times ... unfortunately this did not do the trick
-Regarding your suggestion Vicktor, unfortunately in Egypt we use ADSL (modem+router all in one package - single devise) through copper cables ,no fiber optics so excluding the router would not be possible.

Will check lately installed programs on my PC, Hopefully would find the root cause.

Once again Thanks, your feedback was greatly appreciated.

Hi Guys,

Now i am able to seed files & upload, but my connectability status is still "100.0% bad" & no FIX icon appears next to it.
Any suggestions on how to resolve this.

Thanks.

Khalez, take a look in Utorrent - Options - Preferences - Connection and tell me what boxes are ticked or not ticked in  there? I remember one time having an issue similar to yours.....

Under Listening Port
====================
Ticked boxes :

-Enable NAT-PMP port mapping
-Add Windows Firewall exception

Not ticked:

-Enable UPnP port mapping
-Randomize port each start

Not using any Proxy server or Proxy privacy  settings.
Hope this Helps , Thanks.

well, that is not so bad.. what other services say, are you connectable at all? or never?

see, from some 3-4 years ago i've changed the well-accepted code that, on a client's request, would send only connectable peers, so as to make sure requester can connect to them and download stuff... so now ALL peers are sent out to any client that asks for them, connectable peers and not-connectable together, so if you ARE connectable - this is the solution, if it's just tribalmixes that thinks you're not connectable, then by sending your ip and port to anyone asking for a torrent that you're seeding - we eliminate the not-connectable thing and allow that client to connect to you, or to at least try that, in case that you are connectable... i hope you see my point.. basically, connectable or not, tracker sends your peer's info to the client that is asking for it, you know, when downloading a torrent that you are seeding..

I followed (as best I could!) pretty much all of the tips on here, the only one that has got me 100% connectible straight away (with a minimum of fuss I might add) was downloading and running PFConfig.

It was particularly useful for me, as it set up my router for port forwarding without me having to interrogate/programme my router myself. Running the programme and getting 100% connectible took about a minute.

(As long as you know what your P2P/Torrent programme is called and the name/model of your Router.)

My router is in French and so I was having serious issues figuring out how to forward a port manually. All my previous attempts had failed. But PFConig did it fist time.
