Personally I think it's a total waste  of time.

Anyone who knows anything about Electronic Music will know that all the decent, proper DJ's never win it.

You have people such as Joris Voorn, in at number #148!!

But you will see Guetta et al, making up the top ten as usual.

It's got to be one of the biggest jokes in the industry.

Along with Paris Hilton.

No interest in the DJ MAG Top 100 from over here Rich... i will not be voting again this year...

I just hope that Sasha or someone of that calibre gets a gig at the after party and the mix gets released for us to appreciate....

not bothering to look at the actual list

honestly do not care because its probably skrillex, guetta, aoki, shm and others

It all went shite for me years ago when mates of mine decided to get someone in top 100, we got him 106 ahead of rennie pilgrem.

Discussion closed!!!!!

The most important thing is that Guetta didn't win it again.  :o)

How the hell Tiesto got in at number 2? But then as the whole thing is bobbins anyway....

:o)

It's not a creditable poll it's a joke, for me the number 1 DJ of 2012 is Max Cooper what a year it's been for him.Just amazing producer & Dj yet  thus ridiculous poll ignore's yet again the real talent year after year, instead the same DJs that churn out the same shit year after year almost get the same position each year.
You got to wonder what the hell is going on why do these people who vote not listen to anything else,it may aswell be a pop chart really.Very sad I just wish this poll would die so a real poll could emerge.
f98rmca user on October 21st, 2012 / post 53542
You have to remember that it's just a popularity contest. Nothing to do with an individual DJs talent, technical ability or skills!
RichTeestar Moderator on October 21st, 2012 / post 53543
Just looking through the top 50, I can find 5 or 6 DJ's I would be prepared to pay serious cash to go and see in this years list.

All the quality artists are either in the remaining list or not in it at all. It's such a farce.

If users of websites like TM, TMB, Resident Advisor, Tranceaddict, Mercury Server et al pooled their resources ..... we could and should all try and vote in about 5 quality underground DJ's next year. As in the same 5.

It would be interesting to see how high we could et 'em!  :strongbench:

Give those clueless t*ssers at DJ Mag somehting to talk about too.

After playing total garbage for so many years now, it annoys me to see the likes of Guetta and Tiesto getting recognition for being commercial leaching sell outs that haven't contributed anything worthwhile to the scene in ages.

I mention those two names, but plenty more are guilty as well.
