I bet Richie sent his CV in, anyone could qualify for this job. Any twat could increase the real numbers of listeners. Just make Nick Warren - the essential mix deejay for that year and get 12 quality mixes.

And Nick Warren for the Essential Mix? I think not. He would get a weekly Residency on a Friday Night (3 hours in the mix) which would be repeated on a Saturday night on 1-Xtra.

This to educate the masses.  

The Essential Mix would be re-modeled to only show live (or captured live) mixes from the top clubs in the UK and beyond. All EXCLUSIVE!

This would also be 3 hours per show. Every Friday after the Nick Warren Essential Selection !

(Tong would be sacked!!!)

Saturday would see 'The Extra- Essential Mix' which would be a 3 hour long studio session from a top class underground DJ.

Also, I would order B-Traits to marry me - or she will be sacked along with Pete Tong.
