He was a real force at Striker for the English National team with Teddy Sheringham and Andy Cole. Scored a ton of goals...

The best Striker/Footballer ever to grace the Premier League... 30 or more goals in 3 consecutive seasons..... This is why i did'nt understand when you suggested Stan Collymore????? Shearer is a true gent & a great example to all youngsters...........    

Lost interest in Football a long time ago as it bores the shit out of me and I have better things to do with my time, however I do remember him being on fire at Blackburn on the first season of the Premier League in 1992... and at Newcastle as well including England... (how times change, England are still a bag of spanners and will remain so until the players are motivated by pride (NEVER) and not money
