Lele Sacchi
[Get Physical | Moodmusic | Boogie Drama - Milan]
Behind the decks since 1995 and a whole life dedicated to the world of music Lele Sacchi is now internationally recognised as one of the leaders of Italy's electronic and house music scene. He nearly completed an all around the world trip djing in the best clubs and events (from Los Angeles to Shanghai, from London to Ibiza and festivals as Timewarp and Sonar and so on), records music especially with the project Boogie Drama (releasing tracks for some of the coolest european electronic and house labels such as Systematic, 20-20 Vision, Get Physical, Moodmusic, Liebe Detail, Brique Rouge and many others) and runs the saturday night national show Radio2 Inthemix on state broadcaster Rai.
He shaped Milan's Magazzini Generali since year 2000 (voted best club by MTV and hosting the cream of the scene such as Richie Hawtin, Chemical Bros., Jeff Mills, Carl Cox, Ricardo Villalobos and so on…) and does soundesigning for fashion brands and exhibitions (from Adidas to Prada to Edra design…).
Lele Sacchi is one the founders and managers of Elita, the festival and production company and since 2008 embarked in a new weekly high-profile club night called Classic at Tunnel, Milan.
Being such a devoted music scholar you can also find him teaching a course of 'History of dance music and subcultures' at IED (European Design Institute). In 2012 Italy's biggest newspaper 'La Repubblica' mentioned Lele as one of the 25 figures who shaped Milan in the past 25 years.
