Its nearly midnight and I need to fucking vent and I am in no fucking mood to be pissed off. Here it goes...Marcel Dettmann (RESIDENT OF FUCKING BERGHAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)....was supposed to play Toronto tonite!!!!...this is bullshit!.

So I finally find the piece of shit club (Holds 300)...I am the only one there. There is NO PUB OR BAR up that street. Finally at 10:15pm...I am excited to go in and thought I could probably meet him since there was no one there. Anyway...get to the line...sorry MARCEL dettmann cancelled his tour because of VISA problems

So let me get this...I waited 6 months for this, took a night off of work to go....then got fucked

so FUCK YOU DETTMANN

I feel better....got money for the pub tomorrow.

i already knew who wrote the forum as soon as i saw it.  yeah, thats lame, visa problems = criminal activities in the homeland i say! 'p


dui's make you a felon in canada, but you can pay a large fine for the privilege of entering the country...although dui's are much worse in europe esp germany, so my logic may not be sound.

trust me man, you missing dettman, is as bad as my chronic pain stopping me from seeing Dj Craze, my buddy got up behind the booth and that mutha fuka puts in work, plus he's skilled as hell. i love my music, good thing i like lots of different stuff. gives me more opportunities to work with.

did they not notify the tix holders that the show was cancelled? or was that the start of his north american tour?

There was no tickets. He was supposed to play New York, Chicago and Here. I did not realize that he had a facebook and cancelled Thursday with a message. I have a transit pass, I can go anywhere, anytime...I needed to go downtown and wander around...its liberating. The issue was I finally worked out a day off (saturday) and had waited 6 months to finally see him and got fucked over. Tis why I was so angry

It happened in 2003...Paul van Dyk cancelled (which to this day, I still hold against him). He cancelled because of SARS...now it was originally a Chinese doctor who went to a wedding in Hong Kong, he was treating people with the outbreak. He infected some people in the 9th floor of the hotel. One was an Asian man who lived in Canada....he takes it back. Was forced to sit in a waiting room and hacked it out and gave it to all the people.

Anyway...all the infected people were in isolation wards in hospitals....Paul van dyk cancelled due to that....BITCH!. Now I do point out that Armin showed up in the city two weeks later, he never cancelled and he hung around with people and spoke to people and interacted. It was advised against that at that time.

dude, when i saw pvd in seattle 2 years ago, (it took a lot physically for me to pull it off), he was fucking awesome! i had backstage, like where he was and the organizers and shit and free bar, water, food, omg, never had i enjoyed sitting on leather couches during his set.  my buddy saw armin, he said it was too girly, not the hard core shit, that was last year, same venue, but thats cool that he interactred w/you after and didnt just pull a fast bail out.  that is why i love digweed, he took the time to shake your hand and all. and the set was blazzing.  now that is what i should look for on here, digweek, kingcat theater, 2010 seattle wa.

dude ENJOY YOUR HEALTH, TILL ITS TAKEN FROM YOU, you wont be bitching about a show. everyday is a well, this is not the forum for chronic pain. cant wait to hear you talk about a awesome show you saw from some dj i like. peaace.

You have a point there finite. You do have your chronic pain, which does not go away...but I do hope it does for your sake.

The other issue is that I have not been to a nightclub to see a real deejay since 2006. I am married to my wife and my job. It just worked out, she was working and I was off....which is the gutting part of it.
