DECIBEL FESTIVAL 10th Anniversary in Seattle, WA, page 1
The orb i saw only (!) with dr. lx paterson spinning his crates of vinyl with a group of about 50 people, i just cant believe people dont understand this level of electronica, what have you. I hung out w/the dude and we had a beer. shooot, i wish i was more into the producing end of things then, i was just a LOVER of the music and the live sets and the cd's and remixes. He taught me about andrew weatherall, saunders, thrash, and so many others. wow. over 10 years later, i cant imagine what he will bring to the 'table' hahahaah! YEAH!

Peter Hook is the worthwhile one. He is performing now with his band, given that he fell out with Bernard Sumner (aka New Order!). So New Order is touring with a new bassist because they fell out and will not speak to each other. So good for you, peter hook performs it with his band.
and you see AME!, if it is a dj set, its frank wiedemann, if its live...its kristian beyer
Ben Klock is stellar, so is Speedy J
it is a great lineup for a seattle gig....we have even crazier lineups with utter shite...
two other stellar djs
Cajmere aka Green Velvet but cajmere is the more house oriented alias.
John Tejada is a stellat dj....dusky aint bad either
not bad.

YOU BETTER keep me apprised of the final list set when it hits. this is all we get in seattle and in inttimate venues for a reasonalbe price and parking will be a pisser. so i am glad i have a brain trust in you for the goodies, i cant justify (given my physical conidtion) the 210 GA pass, although if healthy and wokring, yeah, helll yeah, one pass to rule them all! but they are pretty cool on the venue pricing, and i hope to god my friend comes thru w/Some kind of deal for where i sit. finally, a goal to be healhty for!!!

Its a great lineup for seattle...I am not a huge fan of festivals...too many decisions and I cannot make decisions regarding music...too difficult
on a serious note, I hope your condition improves. I have heard of people with chronic pain just magically get better...i pray for you to get better.

THE ORB, of course
SHIGETO - you can check out the set that came from Movement 2013, some techno, haven't heard it yet
as for the pic, what you needed to do is right click on it, then COPY URL ADDRESS, then click [image] link on the right here, it will put tags {img}{/img} and you paste that URL in between the tags. so final will be {img}https://dbfestival.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/FIRST_WAVE_PETER.png{/img} and of course curly brackets will be squared.. doing curly so that they don't auto-process...

thanks slash, appreciate, and a big thanks to you andy, for the kind wishes, i just have 2 more surgeries at least, (i HATE IT when i bite the bullet and go see a dj and ask a worker there if there is ANY place i can sit, and so far they have sucked at being nice. thank god for promoter friends~! vip leather couches are a GODSEND!) tHEY dont even give me quick exits! thats not too much to ask. i would think. I have to fight and WALK all the way back to the bataan death march to my car. (a couple issues i have is a torn ankle, spinal and neck issues. its true what they say aabout old asian drivers. because i was a victim of one.) not making a blanket statement, so please dont take it wrong becuase of your descent/lineage. just stating my facts~! is Shigeto any good? and andy, i thought you would have said sumtin' bout ben klock! (i know you guys get the awwesome lineups! but hey, i will take a few pieces of quality over quantity that the big commecial player in seattle (UNITED STATES OF CONSCIOUSNESS OR USC) provides. sure, they deliver the commerical shit, but i dont want a bunch of singing in my sets. i want the elevated, hard core techno that most people or kids up here dont understand or like i guess.)
mind you guys, Usc EVENTS, they would never throw in the quality names, just the commercial names. i want to emphasize that this is Decibel's event, a usc line-up i would never list, just cause we all know its brainless and commercial and not that special deep underground hardcore techno. ok, they have brought in PVD, ARMIN VAN BUREN, TIESTO, uggh my stupd head injury, his name doesnt come mine, oh, something Gartner, i guess you would call it tech=house. i am horrible with categories. i grew up in the early 90;s warehouse scene on the west coast. a lot of San Francisco-based stuff, i think back then oh shiite. brain is not working. sorry. this car accident has left me feeling stupid, i have lost the ability to recall and most importants remember things long term. l a me e. but, thanks for bearing with me guys, this about the best social interaction i get! and its not even faace to face! but, hey, its better than being totally isolated. music is meant to be appreciated with others, i think so anyway. and LIVE!!!
*i remember now, the only tolerable act that night at a USC event (they are like EDC you might say) was wolfgang gartner. but out of a ENTIRE LINEUP AND 3 STAGES? that sucks. unless you into dubstep, then maybe the small side stage would be your thing.
