for angry power users ..., page 2
I know you wanna do it. You know I wanna do it too. Out here on the dance floor, and we can make sandwiches. "
You can be the bun, and I can be the burger girl.
I know you want to do it, and we can make sandwiches.
So make your thighs like butter, easy to spread, and we can make sandwiches. Out here on the dance floor, come one we can do it.
Yeah we can make sandwiches

Don't like it but i guess i do not have a choice.
Well, maybe the comments are good idea to keep power user rating, but I think the forum post requirements are little bit overkill :) Of course no one will die and it is not such pain in the arse - we will live with that.
I am not necessarily angry or upset about the new requirements. Its more of an inconvenience than anything else and to be quite honest I am not entirely sure what being a power user grants me.

Yeah i got that, but wouldnt these changes only promote spam on comments and forum?
I mean i am a long time power user here and while i didnt uploaded anything, i downloaded a lot of stuff and kept them seeding a loooong long time. So as far as i am concerned, i think i did my part very well. Meantime, all these years i've almost never posted any comments or on forum because: 1) i didnt had the time to browse the forums and 2) my long time seeding of each torrent was enough of a thanks to the uploader and the community, in fact a better thanks than a 6 letter comment on the said torrent.
And now i will have to just spam my way for the 20 comments and 10 forum posts just to be allowed to stay power user. Not really seeing the community and tracker benefit here...
The other changes, both visual and technical are great tho, so keep up the good job!

Ditto.
Love the site for the incredible selection of music. Have no issue seeding. Just chatting in the forums is not the main focus of my life. However, now I will get my obligatory posts and carry on.
CHEERS!
Its all about putting back into the tribalmixes community, gone are the days when you can just visit, get what you want and then disappear.. I have no sympathy towards anyone who can't spare 10minutes reading the forums and or posting, especially when I am sure ppl waste an inordinate amount of time on social media every single day
Yeap, read the hole thread.Interesting, guess each one has their own opinion and reasons for acting like they do. Might people spend hours with social networks and not here, and they don't have to, for they are not the same, I believe. On the other hand, they could learn how to do it here, and make friends the same way they did within other social nets. I also don't think that there could be such a busy schedule that does not allow to post a "Wow, this torrent is amazing. Thanks to the uploader. I thinks it sounds like..." or something.-
But, it's up to you. In a hole I am with people that take the rules, for this site is in the hands of the one who gave it life, and pays the server and stuff. If they think that it is required that people can post to be a power user, so be it, it is their decision, and we would not have a single file to share if it wasn't 'cause of them. It is true, nevertheless, that a person that beholds their downloads in their hard disks is of much help, so it shouldn't be taken so light. I wouldn't have been able to download anything if it wasn't thanks to them. So respect too.-
In my case, it is no lazyness that leads me to keep files for possible seeding. I tend to make backups, and also delete quite a few stuff that I don't like, movies mostly(from other sites, of course). You can see I like to write, and also like to know people, might that be a reason for I see with good eyes the requirement of posting. Many times reading the comments on a torrent they led me to another, so I appreciate them too.-
Peace on site, my fellas. Thanks everyone, even those who don't post but keep their files. Uploaders and, site owner and, indeed, musicians!

here you go, basically on the far right on the torrents page https://www.tribalmixes.com/browse.php
I dont understand what people are complaining about. Only thing you loose is the attribute "power user". What's your problem?!?!
The rules are the rules, and if the rule for being a power user is 20comms and 10 posts, so be it. If you build your own site, you can make your own rules.

Melodic, deep, sing-a-long.
it is great to see the general majority of power users are rising to the changes. I am sure when one sits down and weighs up the pros of this occurring i think you to will see the future is rosey. For sure it will be different, but i am warming to the changes which are already occurring for a brighter future.
I'm with rbcolor --- It's an ATTRIBUTE
It IS an attribute!
As far as I understood, people can still download whatever they want, even without this attribute, so nobody is forced to post or comment.
I dont know if the changed rules will have the effect slash wants them to have, I hope they do. Cheers to the change!

I just cannot realize why it is so difficult for people to accept the simple changes and if you want to be a part of the team, just adjust and follow the requirements .
It`s not like someone is asking you to cut your leg or something , and why forum post must be considered as a spam or something annoying , is it that hard to move your brains and to express your opinion ? ( no offense to anyone for real )
At the end it`s all about the music we all listen and love , isn`t it ?
We all have lives and jobs and yet we are all here, so to all that are saying how busy they are ,and haha that have no time to type a simple “ thank you “ for 10 secs , I `ll ask how many hours have you guys spent in front of your computer today ?
I `m member since 2008 and I `ve never been active in commenting or anything like that ,never uploaded a file and I think it`s a great idea to build a community , and especially to those who are not regular uploaders ( like me ) , let`s show that we are a bit thankful and that we appreciate this place , as it is for sure not comparable to any other similar site !
