!! How to become connectable (fun, fast & easy guide) !!, page 2

i have version 3.4.1
never had problem with tribalmixes and i am quite old as you can see..
I do not have problems with free or non open torrent sites
but since sometime ago here I always see 100% non connectable.. (good i download only ratio free..)
But as I said I am old here and I want to seed.. How? I have tried all I could think of..

the program shows I am green i.e connectable on my torrents downloaded from here and I see one torrent from Tiesto I have shared 50Mbs..

This did help me out fix my ratio  

I think this problem only exists on TM and the reason why people avoid this place or use it seldomly. Other torrent download sites with ratio requirements I visit do not require you to do a thing. Most adults who use this and work for a living connect through their company's internet during the day and its not possible to configure routers. If other sites are able to maintain share ratios without port forwarding and other manipulations by utorrent users I cannot see why TM cannot do the same. This issue will continue to confine most people like myself to "occasional users" and very careful with what sets to download (1-4 per month). Another tip: most of the sets and torrents on here are available elsewhere for download without these headaches (minus a few obscure DJ's).

1. we don't give a crap if you're connectable. can't you understand, BEING CONNECTABLE IS FOR YOUUUUUU!! it's not for the site, it's for you, and you only. i know, it's best to save nerves with likes of you, cause you think you're right... but... oh well...

2. there's no share-ratio rule anymore. if you haven't noticed a HUGE BLACK NOTIFICAtion BOX, then it's your own problem.

over the years, i've tried to explaine the community, that you being connectable benefits everyone, but you in first place - faster downloads, faster uploads, constant utilization of the stream, etc. site doesn't give a crap if you are connectable, don't you see it? nothing changes for you, not a bit, except for little red notification saying how not connectable you are.

site works same, treats you same, why the hell you gonna write these righteous posts, if NOTHING is different in site operation for connectable user or not connectable one. WHYYYYY???? just because you're somehow frustrated with a site that's been ratio-free for the past 2 weeks and is going to stay so? occasional users don't read notifications, i see.. it's up to you.. wanna stay angry with opening ports and being connectable - sure you can, or you can just enjoy the site and the music you get...

So just something I've been dealing with is that I do everything through a proxy server for sake of being safe with my other torrenting. I'm seeding and so forth and it shows that I'm connected to the tribalmixes tracker but I'm getting hit with a hit and run and not showing any connectivity while I'm actively seeding. Any ideas?

i've the same problem, got a problem-free PC, running well, downloading well but when it comes to upload i dont know what to do! i'm no pro at this but i think i can manage to figure out how to get active uploads for the others but still the time counter doesnt work right for me and seems like not much have been uploaded from me although ive got no limit on my upload, could u help me? im desprate that im banned.

use to seed on some private/ public trackers, good ratio, but still unconnectable here .. any idea?

utorrrent and router seems fine ( it works well on other trackers), but always unconnectable ..

For those behind a CGNAT port forwarding is useless. FYI.

This is so frustrating..I was totally fine yesterday,everything is checked and lit up green on uTorrent, but I'm now 100% not connectable..the instructions are hard for me to understand..

After I read all posts in this forum and tweaked and tested to forward my ports for connection, I realized that my sets are not connectable in BitTorrent I came up with the idea to experiment a little bit more without changing ports and stuff. Well, I started to stop all the torrent I share in Bit Torrent and than I started them all again. AND GUESS WHAT? When the torrent started again they show that they are connectable.

WHAHW I could not read this anywhere and I thought I can share this with you for the for reason to come up with your ration!

SO MY ADVICE TO YOU:
TO BE ABLE TO SEE YOUR TORRENTS CONNECTABLE YOU HAVE TO STOP THEM IN YOUR TRACKER AND THAN START THEM ALL AGAIN. YOU WILL SEE AFTER A FEW SECONDS ALL CONNECTABLE AND I GUESS THIS IS THE SOLUTION WITH THE PROBLEM. I HOPE YOU SOLVE THIS PROBLEM AND SHARE THEM ALL TO THE WORLD.
