Ooooh! Sundays at the Pulse... will never forget the long queues (if I wasn't early)... but then the super short door searches... running down the sticky carpeted steps, through the chill-out area (with the low ceiling), past the flooded toilettes and onto the dance floor.... diving straight into a Nick Rafferty set... belting out of the 50K sound system. Feel those compression waves!

Someone upped his Sunnies vol.1 CD last year. Thought it was always a bit tame this one versus an actual club set, but hey-ho...

This one, the other hand, was an absolute belter of a Sunnies anthem....

I used to get changed in New street station when its was the pits, then head over to the Chinese bar down from the Pulse before heading up their just as it opened,  truly great times!

lol
New Street Station and the Palisades... circa 1995 to 2000 :-O 'twas indeed a rum place to be!
I recall a club that was semi-attached to all that concrete jungle via a covered-over pedestrian bridge, called Tin Tins.
That was very very rum place... until the cops trashed it during a raid and shut it down :chair: :chair: :chair: :chair:
What made us all chuckle though was that the West Midlands police HQ was in the same block/building as the West End Bar.
The Biggest after-parties and tablet caning sessions this side of Andromeda were had in there during the 90's!!! :-D
