I've been trying to incorporate music from different places in my listening collection. To begin, I am trying to find out what is the top charts elsewhere. I began by looking at some European monoliths, like Germany as well as the UK, France and Sweden. I thought I was an expert after hours of Youtube and the site would provide me all the information I wanted. But, it wasn't so simple. The only thing one can view is the most popular and current songs in their local area, or even their country. Then I checked out other websites that claim to include the top 20 songs most popular songs on Youtube for their country.. Some did, but most of them were outdated as nobody would want to write about the top 20 songs every week. This is something you can do for TV, right? Hit-parades, and other stuff like that.
I tried it again.. But after a few weeks of not finding or even a handful of or a few, and being unable to locate any source of the most popular songs from other countries I was ready to give in. My best choice was to install an Firefox plugin that would allow me to connect to the Internet through another country. This enabled me to browse Youtube as if it were located in Spain or Germany. It wasn't reliable, as these connections can disappear and be slow. However, it was a solution so I tried it. The limited number of countries available and the the need to search for reliable sources were getting to me.. And so I've discovered this fantastic tiny Youtube to mp3 converter site which surprised me with its features that aren't obvious.
It was the Top 20 Youtube videos most popular link. It would load about 2 dozen Youtube music videos on demand and show me the USA chart.. Then I changed the interface language to German and it showed the top 20 most watched videos. It was surprising to see that Top 20 German trending music videos loaded.. No matter how it occurs, I was awed by the speed of delivery. It was very effortless and speedy.
