hello! this is a message from system. it is important that you read it, it will just take 2 minutes, but it can change a lot in the website's life and your own use of the website. there's just a few things we're asking you to do, if you haven't heard or read about it, including a couple of nice features...

0. please, chose your top 10 favourite djs. this is done for the uploaders to see what djs are most appreciated. you can also check top 10 downloaded djs in the stats section.

1. this website is completely to use, but it is not free to run, that's why we're asking you to donate. even $1 will really help, if 50 people decide to donate a $1. website is located on a dedicated server, giving you best perfomance possible and 100.1% online time, but it costs $72 a month.

2. please click banners, check that link and look at the bottom of the page, there is a google banner with 3-4 links. if you click one, website gets 5-10 cents. if you dedice to click only one link every other day, you will give the website $1-3 a month, and with mass clicks we could exist without real donations. banners are pretty much hidden and should not bother you, but you could locate them easily when downloading .torrent file or reading info on djs. all the funds we get are going to the website. during 5 months google ads are on the website, the total income is about $45. meaning that only 1 out of 1000 displays of the banner ads produced 1 click, in other words, almost noone clicks banners, although it is the easiest way to help out.

3. after leeching the new torrent, do not remove it from the client, because it is not fair. new torrents must be seeded so that all users could get them, otherwise we will activate the time wait system. if that is done, many users will not be able to download new mixes for the first day or two, depending on the share ratio.

4. if you want to ask uploaders to share some special mix, please check out forums request section. also there's a lot of useful info in forums.

5. please check your connectability. read this topic in forums and change ports/open them in your router/firewall.

6. READ!!! uploads are for everyone again. check out this thread of you want to make a torrent and upload it to the website. also read rules before you upload, cause if any 2 of your torrents get deleted by anyone from staff, you will not be able to upload again (2 mistakes rule). please make sure to reflect the name, date and location or source in the name of the torrent, post bitrate and lenght in description. and check out the torrent history with all torrents that were on the website before. check if it is there, if it was popular, if it was just deleted from website, cause if you double upload a torrent, it will be deleted and counted for 1 mistake. seed your new uploads for at least 24 hours. and do not upload anything commercial, which is illegal.

7. we have 3 of our djs in the featured dj section, with some bio and few mixes online for each dj. check out their mixes and tell them what you think or rate them.

8. check out the site OUTLOOK in the left menu, as it let's you set up your country, change website skins, adjust numbers of torrents/msgs to show per page, get e-mail notifications if some torrent is uploaded to your chosen favourite categories, set up your avatar and many more features.

9. please read faq - lots of questions are answered in there.

10. if you want to get the uploader status - don't ask for it. just read qualifications that you need to comply with (it is not a must, but...) and start uploading torrents. when you have 10-15 well seeded torrents in your portfolio - pm slash and only then you can get it. noone will receive the status prior to uploading new torrents.

after a while, this list needs some additions. so, here are some useful tips that are more useful now with recent rules and ratio-policy changes.

11. hit-and-run happens when you don't seed a freshly downloaded torrent well enough (at least 30-40% or 0.30-0.40). lots of users receive these hit-and-run messages, and there will be more messages and warnings, weekly suspensions and banning, if users continue makign those hit-and-runs. many torrent clients options have something line seed torrents until NNN % where you could set 100% to keep your ratio around 1.00, or seed new torrents for MM hours, which is also good, even if your torrent ratio isn't good enough.

12. donations now autonmatically give you upload credit as of 1GB per $5 of donation. it's just a little token of out appreciation.
